A Grade II listed building dating back to the 16th Century now a family run Inn and Restaurant, which has recently been immaculately furnished, combines traditional character with an urban, modern twist.
Inside, it offers an large open log fire and wood burner in the snug, seating for 100+ people offering spacious dining for couples, families or individual diners, as well as a cosy snug area, and two separate dining areas that can also be booked for private functions. You can choose to eat informally around the bar or take a table in our more intimate restaurant. In summer, french doors from the restaurant give access to open air dining for up to 20 people on our Alfresco Terrace and the gardens beyond with ample natural shade bordered by the River Meon.
There are five double en-suite rooms and one single en-suite room, located on the first floor, that have all been decorated to a very high standard, each providing it’s own unique theme.The experienced chefs offer a wide range of freshly cooked, high-quality food. At lunchtime, we offer a range of sandwiches, lighter meals and grills and in the evening an a la carte menu including many traditional favourites . Both menus are supported by seasonal chefs recommendation dishes. Children are well catered for with their own menu. And don't miss out on our range of fabulous hand made desserts. The menus are changed on a regular basis, using locally based produce and suppliers.
